About Jeff Black
Jeff Black is a professional photographer living in Taos, New Mexico. He began doing photography in the US Navy when he was assigned to the US Navy photography school in Pensacola, Florida after he completed basic training in San Diego. He spent three years at the US Naval Station in San Diego where he was assigned to the Pacific Fleet Photography Unit taking photographs of ships, auto accidents, gunnery and aircraft exercises as well as general photography duties such as portraiture, developing and printing.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business at the University of Colorado after a year studying at Ft. Lewis A&M in Durango, Colorado.
He started his own business, Synergy Photographics, in 1980, which offers fine commercial photography, full color printing and graphic design. Jeff works with several printers and a designer to create profit making printed and promotional materials for his customers.
Jeff loves to hike, bike, meditate, practice Tai Chi, study language and travel. His favorite travel destinations are France, the Big Sur California coast and the Greek Islands You can see several of Jeff's European and Big Sur photos here on Fine Art America.
